QuickLegal has officially been selected as a winner of the Women TechEU grant, one of the European Union’s most competitive funding programs supporting deep-tech startups led by women founders. Out of 1,107 applications submitted from across Europe this year, the highest number to date, we are proud to be among the top 3.6% chosen for funding.

This recognition is more than an achievement. It’s a signal.

Why This Matters

The Women TechEU initiative, backed by the European Innovation Council and implemented by European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), exists to support women-led innovation at the frontier of technology. Being selected validates not only what we’re building at QuickLegal but why we’re building it.

It’s also a reminder of how competitive and fast-evolving the European startup ecosystem has become. With over a thousand applications, the bar has never been higher. That makes this recognition even more meaningful.

A Proud Moment for Romania

There’s another layer to this story that makes it especially personal.

QuickLegal is one of only two Romanian startups to ever receive this funding across the past two years of the program.

For a growing innovation ecosystem like Romania’s, moments like this matter. They shine a light on what’s possible and open doors for others who are building, often quietly, but with incredible ambition.

This award represents all of those unseen moments.
